The Hidden Emotion

For the last 17 years I have had the distinct privilege of being able to connect with and treat so many diverse and wonderful people. From the start I have never only relied on medical evidence as the basis of the treatment, and in so many cases often felt that besides just aligning a neck, or taping an ankle, there does lie a hidden cause in the treatment of the body. Certainly in the last few years we have seen the suggestion of body talk, and other emotive and somewhat controversial healing elements that are bound to irk the conventional medical world. However we have seen that some patients with a bacterial infection are not responding to just one course of antibiotics; and muscular skeletal injuries often don’t respond to a course of our often reliant anti-inflammatories… so what is the issue?

Recently I treated a young lady who has had chronic pain which she backdated to at least a good twelve years ago. She visited many specialists and to no avail, she did not respond or get relief. We discussed options and it became clear that we had to consider the stress component or some emotional trigger. Suddenly, as if by fate, a book landed up in her hands which she read, and it made such sense re healing within and dealing with pain. The essence was the link of trauma at a cellular level and pain caused from within! To not become too complicated or delve into a scientific lecture here, one must surely question and test the triggers of pain, trauma and sickness. Often specialists will negate the root causes linked to the problem and only look to the obvious issue. Most often, following a trauma, a loss of someone, a hijacking, a Steinhoff collapse, a divorce etc. do people suddenly develop a severe illness. And conventionally and mistakingly only treat symptoms without delving into the past and emotional link to the illness. Thus we can’t stress enough the importance of blending Physio, Chiro, Biokinetics,  NLP, Art Therapy, Body Talk, Cellular Balancing, etc. when treating an illness.

Times have changed, and when treating pain/illness, we SHOULD NOT just pop a cataflam and hope to get better. We are dealing with the most advanced system! THE HUMAN BODY. Listen to your intuition, reflect on your past, find the links. The complexity of it is marvelous and we are still learning so much of the hidden elements.
Stay safe, heal well and thrive!
