When I grew up in the late 70’s and 80’s, you inherently and subtly were “pushed” to study accounting, engineering, medicine or building science! Who would have predicted that starting an app for taxis or developing a social channel would make the A team and earn you a higher status than being a professional! I am not for one moment saying that becoming a professional in today’s society is wrong or a grave decision, but the eternal question is how many of us study and go on to fulfill our dreams and passions! What is the balance between earning healthily and making a decent living? Or taking the jump and leap and going for purpose and passion! Today’s times demand that with completion out in the world we are more inspired and ambitious to create our true purpose! Having completed a trip to the USA it was so evident that if you fulfill your passion and purpose you have an excellent chance of LIVING LIFE! From watching EVERYONE use their phones to order food and/or taxi’s, to being emotionally inspired beyond words by watching the latest toney award musical ‘Dear Evan Hansen’, I have realised that the world is yours to play in! Have no fear! Whether you wanna do accounting, create a new app, create the latest magnificent musical, or become the latest craze with a new recipe!
